Marlina and Freddy were first introduced by her dad and his aunt in September 2015. At that first meeting the conversation was a little reserved and awkward. They dared not make eye contact and stumbled for conversation.

Time passed, they both went through some tribulations, sorrows and hardships in their lives. They continued to communicate and over time the connection between them slowly grew and a bond of trust was formed. Their conversation and relationship developed from those initial awkward moments as they slowly became more comfortable with each other. By mid-June 2022 they were cautiously ready to enter a relationship and they quickly found that they fit quite perfectly together. Their understanding of each other matured and their relationship blossomed; and by November 2022 they decided to get engaged. The closer they get, the more they realise that they don't want a life without each other.

Through God's guidance, that first nervous conversation has turned into a brave precious commitment. Commitment to support, cherish, and love one another for the rest of their lives.
